Welcome to LIFE/Houston!
Local Infant Formula for Emergencies (LIFE)/Houston is a local, non-profit agency whose mission is to provide families with infant formula through our "Food for Hungry Babies" program. In 22 years, Food for Hungry Babies has served over 92,000 families in the greater Houston area as we are the only agency solely dedicated to providing emergency formula to infants, birth to one year. |

|
Led by a talented and committed team of professionals, Food for Hungry Babies is low barrier; parents or caregivers need only photo identification of themselves and proof of the babies birth. More importantly, thanks to the generosity of individuals, churches and corporations, families also receive other baby essentials that we have on hand at any given time.

"Through this time when hope seems to be down, LIFE gave the spirit to keep trust and faith, and a reminder there is a God. A special thank you to Ms. Eva, who helped my children and I when the moment could have been given up. Thank you to the Creator of LIFE for giving life to families."

"I recently moved to Houston from New Orleans with my 4-month old daughter. Texas does not cash WIC vouchers out of state. I was down to just 2 scoops of formula and no (extra) money. I came to LIFE/Houston and they provided me with all the things I needed. I even checked before I came because I did not know how I was going to feed my daughter. I really appreciate it. Please keep up the great work for mothers like me." LaTasha Spates 12/8/08
